Angelica C. Martin, Principal

Angelica Martin brings over 15 years of residential and corporate landscape design and construction experience to each project.    As a California native she draws inspiration from the unique diversity of our natural ecology. Her passion for harmony between function and aesthetic in the landscape has kept her designs fresh throughout her career.

Licensed in California as both a landscape designer and building contractor, she brings a pragmatic understanding of what it takes to build in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco peninsula.

Drawing on her dual design and construction talents, she enjoys working with clients to apply their aesthetic and functional goals to each unique landscape. Angelica’s design aesthetic fuses utilitarian needs, modern architectural lines and naturalistic appeal.  The spaces created result in works that are both highly functional and pleasing to the senses.

MISSION

“Our mission is to listen, observe and explore so that we find a balance between the characteristics of the land and our clients’ objectives.” – Angelica Martin

All of our designs draws on disciplines from horticulture to fine art, architecture, and ecology.  Using best sustainability practices, projects incorporate green building materials as well as reclaimed and drought tolerant landscape elements that are adapted to the San Francisco Bay Area.

DESIGN BUILD

Benefits of a Design Build Landscape Practice:

Most of our work is design/build because it maintains the integrity of our designs while allowing us to control the quality of the labor. This is beneficial to our clients because it creates a single point of responsibility, creates transparent communications, speeds up the delivery time and optimizes costs. This arrangement provides a seamless transition between concept on paper and built reality.  Client investment is sheltered and nothing is lost in translation.
