Landscape Design and Build

We design and install a completely new landscape for your home.

This could include all aspects of landscape architecture, including hardscape, grade changes, retaining walls, plantings, drainage solutions, pergolas, decks and outdoor structures.

How this works:

DESIGN PHASE

1. The initial consultation:
The initial consultation is with the client and Angelica Martin, owner of NatureWalk Landscapes. The meeting objective is to gain an understanding of the desired functionality of the space and obtain a broad idea of aesthetic goals. Based on our discussion, we will provide a design estimate.

2. Documentation and Measurements: We will begin working on the design. This requires measuring the property and/or ordering a survey if necessary.  In this stage there will be additional communication with the client to fine tune objectives and design goals.

3. Initial Design Presentation: We meet to go over the proposed initial design. This includes a scaled site plan in a CAD format and a 3D rendering of the design. 

4. Engineering: Only if this is needed, we submit our design to be assessed by our professional engineers. 

5. Final Design Presentation: We present the final design.

CONSTRUCTION PHASE

1. Construction Estimate: We create a line item estimate based on the finalized design. Our construction estimates are designed to be comprehensive in order to minimize the need for change orders during the build.

2. Permitting: Only if this is needed, we begin the permitting process with your town.

3. Scheduling: We will schedule the project as soon as we are clear to build

4. Staging: We set up the environment for construction so the client can be as comfortable as possible during the process.

5. Construction: We start with site prep, then hardscaping and structural work, and finish with plantings.

6. Delivery: Your new landscape is ready to enjoy!
